Nesoi Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Envelope service located at https://envelope-beryl.vercel.app/ (the "Service") to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws.

Scope

This Copyright Policy applies to all content accessible through the Service, including but not limited to:

PWA install pages generated through the Service
Apps built and served through the AI builder (including those accessible at /api/render/[appId])
Images uploaded or generated through the Images module
Any other user-submitted or AI-generated content hosted by the Service

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing the following information:

Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
Identification of the infringing material — A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service, including the specific URL(s) of the install page(s), built app(s), or other content.
Your contact information — Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy statement — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

Review the claim and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
Make a good faith attempt to notify the user who created the content
Document the notice for our records

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

Identification of the material — A description of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
Your contact information — Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Consent to jurisdiction — A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Nesoi Group LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
Good faith statement — A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will restore the removed material not less than 10, nor more than 14, business days after receiving the counter-notification, unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

AI-Generated Content and Copyright

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate code, images, and other content. Users should be aware of the following regarding AI-generated content:

Uncertain copyright status — The copyright status of AI-generated content is an evolving area of law. We make no representations about whether AI-generated code, images, or other outputs are eligible for copyright protection or constitute original works of authorship.
Potential similarity to existing works — AI models are trained on large datasets that may include copyrighted material. As a result, AI-generated outputs may inadvertently resemble or reproduce elements of existing copyrighted works. Users are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated content for potential copyright issues before publishing or distributing it.
No indemnification — We do not indemnify users against copyright claims arising from AI-generated content. If a third party alleges that AI-generated content produced through the Service infringes their copyright, the user who published or distributed that content is responsible for responding to the claim.
User-uploaded images — Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload any images used through the Service, including app icons, module content, and any other visual assets. Uploading copyrighted images without authorization may result in content removal and account action.

User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

Only use content (including names, icons, images, and code) that you own or have the right to use
Review AI-generated code and images for potential copyright issues before publishing
Promptly respond to any copyright claims related to your content
Remove infringing content upon notification

Repeat Infringers

We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
